What is an ear infection?
There are different types of ear infections. Middle ear infection (acute otitis media) is an infection in the middle ear.
Another condition that affects the middle ear is called otitis media with effusion. This condition occurs when fluid builds up in the middle ear without causing an infection. Otitis media with effusion does not cause fever, ear pain, or pus build-up in the middle ear.

What is a chest cold (acute bronchitis)?

What is flu?
Flu is a respiratory illness that spreads from person to person. It can cause mild to severe illness. Serious outcomes of flu can result in hospitalization or death. Sinus Infection (Sinusitis)
Stuffy nose that just isn’t getting better? You might have a sinus infection, also called sinusitis. Sinus infections happen when fluid builds up in the air-filled pockets in the face (sinuses). What are skin infections?
Skin infections occur when bacteria infect the skin and sometimes the deep tissue beneath the skin. Cellulitis is a common type of skin infection that causes redness, swelling, and pain in the infected area of the skin.

What is a urinary tract infection (UTI)?
Do you have pain or burning when you urinate? You might have a urinary tract infection (UTI). UTIs are common infections that happen when bacteria, often from the skin or rectum, enter the urethra, and infect the urinary tract.
